An award-winning filmmaker, illustrator, sculptor, and writer, blends the macabre, the beautiful, and the epic in his visual style, yielding dazzling results. Growing up immersed in creatures and creativity, Corin embarked on his early career at age 12 as a special FX ‘monster-maker’ in his parents' bike shed. Influenced by a diet of Ray Harryhausen monster movies and 70s & 80s horror cinema, he crafted Super-8 films with school friends, using them as stand-ins for zombies, werewolves, and slasher victims, while constructing elaborate sets for plasticine stop-motion epics in his bedroom. After studying theatre design at Wimbledon School of Art, Corin handcrafted his award-winning stop-motion short film Butterfly (2004), premiering at the Edinburgh Film Festival and winning the Brussels Animation Festival for best long animated short. This success led to his signing with Academy Films, where he directed a series of short films and narratively driven music videos for both mainstream and underground bands.

In 2015, Corin wrote and directed his debut feature, The Hallow, an intense and accomplished fairy-tale horror movie, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and went on to win international awards for directing, cinematography, and effects, including Best Horror Film at the UK's Empire Film Awards 2016 and five awards at the Los Angeles Scream Fest. In 2018, Corin directed his second feature film, The Nun, the next installment of James Wan's blockbuster Conjuring Universe franchise, for New Line Cinema/Warner Bros.
